Everything you love about Evanston — Elevated.

A city street with pedestrians, cyclists, and cars, lined with tall modern glass and concrete buildings, and green trees under a blue sky.

Rise to the Extraordinary

We're proposing 430 new homes in the heart of downtown Evanston—thoughtfully designed for the people who make this community thrive. Imagine young professionals who can walk to work, families finding homes in their preferred school district, and longtime residents with the option to downsize while staying in the community they love. All just steps from the lake and a quick train ride to Chicago.

Why 605 Davis matters for Evanston

More Homes

605 Davis will add 430 new homes to downtown Evanston, attracting new neighbors who will spend an estimated $830,000 annually at local businesses. Of these new residences, 344 will be available at market-rate, helping stabilize Evanston's housing market. Additionally, 86 homes—20% of the total units—will be designated as affordable housing, surpassing all previous inclusionary housing options offered since 2007.

Supporting Our Community

605 Davis will help fund the many things that make Evanston great. By 2031, the project will generate nearly $1.3 million in new property tax revenue to support schools, parks, and city services. That means a well-funded classroom experience, more funding for playgrounds and dog parks, and more resources for public safety and community programs. When we invest in housing, we're also investing in our community's future.

Opportunity for All

605 Davis will create 900 construction jobs and 15+ permanent positions. The project will also create demand for about 7 additional city jobs to serve the growing community. With more neighbors spending locally—over $683,000 annually on everyday purchases—existing businesses benefit and new opportunities emerge.

Gold Standard

605 Davis is designed to meet emerging standards for energy efficiency and sustainability leadership. As an all-electric building, it complies fully with Evanston’s Healthy Building Ordinance as well as the Illinois Stretch Energy Code — ensuring sustainable performance and a reduced carbon footprint.
